Pilates for golfers

 

"I read that Tigers Woods and many golf pros do Pilates - and now I know why. Tuula's Pilates showed me that my muscles were unbalanced (too much golfing!) and I got practically no flexibility in my hips and my trunk rotation was really limited. Occasionally, I also had lower back pain. I love golf but I know first hand that playing golf and back pain aren’t a good combination… Pilates training with Tuula helped me understand how my body and spine really work. Golf conditioning training

 

"For many years I was killing the ball and thinking that power is the most important way to get the ball fly further. Well, I was so wrong. Tuula taught me that it was my lack of flexibility and poor posture that stopped my swing getting better… even my brand new gears didn’t help. She tailored a very challenging program for me , and at first I was very stiff. But, oh man, I can only tell my swing is so much more powerful and accurate now! Tuula definitely is an expert in the correction of posture, and it really shows that she is physical therapist and has good knowledge of golf biomechanics too."
